Harden's survey result
Summary
“Impressive ambition” and a hospitable style (“they made us feel so welcome”) endear people to this modern bistro, serving funky small plates alongside low-intervention wines. This year they added an upstairs bar and roof terrace with views over Bude.
For 34 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Temple Restaurant Diner Reviews

"A likeable place with decent cooking. Just too expensive. The impression was a focus on an easier life for chef. No choice of starter although to be fair, the three small vegetable plates were quite nice. Then choice of one fish, one meat and one veggie main all with the same sides of lettuce and potato. Finally a chocolate mousse which tasted fine but hurriedly dropped on the plate with zero finesse. Biggest gripe was £44 for four small (120ml) glasses of just ok French table wine."
