Summary
“Great Turkish food” earned a shout-out this year from a couple of fans of this well-established BBQ business, with sites in Bold Street, Lark Lane and Childwall. After our annual diners’ poll had concluded in July 2024, the group took a major step up with this new flagship, which occupies an impressive Grade II former banking hall in the city centre. Early reports in local media suggest it fully lives up to its excellent, if more humble, cheap ’n’ cheerful forebears, delivering a very affordable meal with a bit of grandeur thrown in.
