“A wonderful café tucked away in the grounds of The Royal Foundation of St Katharine in Limehouse” – London’s ‘first yurt café’ (opened in 2016) provides “an oasis of calm” in the East End. Motto: ‘Community, Creativity, Connection’ – “it’s open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and does a small but lovely range of freshly cooked food”. “In summer, there are tables outside under canopies where you can watch the butterflies in the community garden; in winter it is toasty, warm and cosy”.
