Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"Nice setting in a residential area of Westminster. First impressions are good - it's large, the tables are well-spaced and the overall atmosphere is good. However, the food is a bit of a let-down. The bread basket is non-descript - brown and white sliced bread. The pasta was pleasant but nothing to write home about. The fish was fairly dry. A nice evening was had, and the service is unhurried and recommended wine was decent and not expensive. But it could be better"
