By Arcade's new Food Hall in Covent Garden, this new standalone Greek-Cypriot taverna, is run by Nick Molyviatis and Barry Karacostas, with a menu channeling the duo's shared Greek and Cypriot heritage. Rustic charm balanced with contemporary elements is all going to lead to a warm welcome according to the press release. Sample menu items suggest it's one for those who like to eat heartily, including items such as: Sheftalia (grilled pork parcels); souvlaki; kleftiko; lamb chops served Greek style; karidopita, a traditional Greek walnut cake; and galaktompoureko, baked semolina custard in filo pastry.
