Opinions divide a little on this elegant chamber, where “fantastic views towards Winchester enhance the atmosphere”; and where MasterChef: The Professionals winner 2023, Tom Hamblet took over at the stoves in 2023 providing a nine-course tasting menu for £125 per person. "What a superb meal - one of the best we have ever had - congratulations to Tom Hamblet for such wonderful cooking and his desire to push for better and better - difficult to pick out the highlights / they were all so good and some I mentally marked down were because they weren’t to my taste not that they weren’t so good. Perhaps the scallops injected with seaweed came just out on top - overall above a 9/10"
