The braai is central to the cooking of many South African-inspired dishes at Amy Corbin & Patrick Williams’s open-fire restaurant, which occupies a trendily converted former Truman’s pub in Nunhead. On the plus side, fans say it’s “so good!”, but on the minus side, feedback is surprisingly limited given the coverage it has been accorded by its famous associations (Amy’s father, Chris Corbin, being restaurant royalty).
