Chet Sharma brings his bar snacks to the Langham

Chef Chet Sharma has designed a new menu of snacks and small plates for the plush Artesian cocktail bar at the The Langham hotel in Portland Place, which will be unveiled next week.

Chet, whose hit Mayfair restaurant BiBi offers what the 2025 Harden’s guide describes as ‘possibly the best sophisticated Indian dining in town‘, follows Humble Chicken chef-patron Angelo Sato at the Artesian.

The ’BiBi Bar Bites‘ menu, which launches next Wednesday 14 May, includes a Wookey-Hole Cheese Pappad using cave-aged Cheddar; Carlingford oyster with passionfruit jal jeera; Kasoori Methi Chicken Pakora; and Lamb Keema Kulcha with pickled chilli butter. For those wanting to push the boat out, there is an Aged N25 Caviar Shakargandi, using Schrenkii caviar farmed in China at £130 a pop.

The new food menu coincides with the launch of Artesian’s new ’Ultimo‘ cocktail list from head bartender Giulia Cuccurulo, who has developed 16 new mixes said to be ‘crafted with future-proof ingredients sourced locally‘ – such as the ’Cep‘, a play on a classic Negroni flavoured with Cep mushrooms and Stilton cheese.
