Graeme Cheevers of Glasgow’s highly rated Unalome this week launched his second restaurant – Loma, at Cameron House resort hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond. The move marks Graeme’s return to a venue he knows well from his stint as head chef when the restaurant was run by Martin Wishart more than 10 years ago.
Graeme said: “Our goal is to offer guests an unforgettable dining experience, one that combines precision, creativity and warm Scottish hospitality. I hope Loma will become a must-visit for both locals and visitors alike.”
Loma’s seasonal menus showcase some of the best Scottish ingredients, including Loch Fyne langoustines, Argyle Estate red deer, Orkney gold beef and Perthshire strawberries. Unalome, which Graeme opened in Glasgow’s West End four years ago, wins high praise in the 2025 Harden’s guide as “a gastronomic highlight” and “an unpretentious joy, despite the excellence of the cooking”.
Martin Wishart, whose self-named restaurant in Leith has played a leading role Edinburgh’s restaurant scene for more than 25 years, began a 15-year association with Cameron House in 2008. It came to an end with the closure of restaurant Tamburrini & Wishart in October 2023.
